- Renault will showcase its electric technologies to gauge feedback
- The Renault Trezor concept and Zoe EV are likely exhibits this year
- Renault will also showcase its existing range from the Kwid to the Captur
French auto major, Renault has announced that it will be showcasing a range of products at the upcoming 2018 Auto Expo. The car maker plans to showcase electric vehicles, concept cars and a Formula 1 at its pavilion, in addition to its existing range of mass market offerings. With the newfound push towards electric mobility in the country, the car maker is looking to showcase its talent in the field from its global line-up. Here's a look at what you should be expecting the Renault stall this year.

(Renault Zoe)
One of the major attractions this year at Renault India is expected to be the Renault Zoe electric hatchback. The model is already on sale in Europe for a while now and is quite practical too as an offering. The electric hatchback is powered by a 41kWh battery that offers a range of 400 km (European driving cycle) and can be charged in 65-80 minutes with quickcharger. The Renault Zoe is a practical offering, even for a market like India but will only be displayed for now at the Expo. The company aims to showcase its prowess in the EV space with the model and gauge feedback on electric vehicles from the visitors.

Banking on the EV theme this year, Renault India is also expected to showcase the Trezor electric autonomous car concept at the 2018 Auto Expo. The two-seater performance GT concept was first displayed at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and is a stunning looking model. The Trezor uses a carbon-fibre chassis while power comes from a Formula E drived electric motor that produces about 350 bhp of power. The concept also boasts of two large batteries that help propel the electric motor, with 0-100 kmph coming up just 4 seconds.

(Renault R.S.17 F1 Car)
A major highlight at the Renault stall this year will be its 2017 Formula 1 contender - the R.S.17. The F1 car looks stunning and was piloted by Kevin Magnussen and Jolyon Palmer for most of the year, while Carlos Sainz Jr. took up the seat from Jolyon Palmer in the latter part of the season. The car is built on a honeycomb monocoque chassis built of carbon fibre, while power comes from 1.6-litre turbocharged V6 engine that comes paired to a 8-speed semi-automatic transmission. The Renault R.S.17 F1 car is surely going to excite a lot of motorsport enthusiasts at the pavilion this year.

In addition, Renault's complete range right from the entry-level Kwid to the recently launched Captur will be a part of the display area. Reports suggest that the French automaker might showcase the new generation Duster as well. However, the company hasn't confirmed it yet. That said, Renault did announce that the pavilion will have a host of customer-engagement programmes for the visitors to look forward to.
