Bajaj launches the Discover 125 at Rs. 48000

Bajaj launched the all-new Discover 125 in India at Rs 48000 (ex-showroom Delhi). We've seen the Discover 125 at the Delhi Auto Expo and now it's up for grabs. The motorcycle gets a 124.6cc, 4-valve engine with the twin spark DTS-i technology.

The 125cc engine puts out 11bhp and 10.8Nm of torque. Bajaj says that the top speed of the bike is 100km/h and to expect a fuel efficiency of 76km/l.

The Discover 125 gets 130mm drum brakes as standard. Customers can put in some extra cash and buy a 200mm front petal disc. It also gets a Nitrox gas-charged suspension, electric start and DC headlamp as standard equipment.

When it comes to the pricing of the bike, the Discover 125 will compete with the likes of the Hero Glamour and Passion Pro and the Honda CB Shine

Commenting on the launch K Srinivas, President - motorcycle business, said, "The all new Discover 125 offers equivalent mileage of a 100cc and comes with exciting performance and features all at an attractive price. We want the Indian commuter to live life to the fullest and "Jiyo Dana-Dan."
