BGauss D15 Electric Scooter Priced At Rs. 99,999; Deliveries To Begin In June

- BGauss unveiled its third electric scooter, BG D15.

BGauss unveiled its third electric scooter, BG D15 in two variants- D15i and D15 Pro, priced at Rs. 99,999 and Rs. 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. While deliveries for the BGauss D15 electric scooter would commence from June, customers can pre-book the BG D15 electric scooter for a refundable amount of Rs. 499. The brand is also focusing on expanding its existing footprint in the country via a dealer network in all the tier I and tier II markets. BGauss currently has 100 showrooms all over India and is gearing to gain a stronger foothold across India by the end of 2022.

Hemant Kabra, Director, RR Global and Founder & MD, BGAUSS Auto Pvt. Ltd. said, “We are excited to launch a 100% Made in India electric scooter, BG D15 which is designed and developed by our in-house research and development team in Pune. The product quality and its functionality are a testament to BGAUSS Electric's goal of offering best-in-class mobility solutions.”
Powering the BG D15 is a 3.2 kWh Li-ion battery, and it can accelerate from 0 to 60 kmph in under 7 seconds, in the Sports mode. The BG D15 electric scooter also comes with two modes, Eco, and Sport, and sits on 16-inch alloy wheels. The lithium-ion battery can charge 100 per cent in 5 hours and 30 mins. The BGauss D15 electric scooter has an ARAI Certified range of 115 km.

The BG D15 is equipped with a completely waterproof, IP 67 rated, electric motor and battery with protection against extreme heat and dust.

The BG D15 is a premium electric scooter, developed ground up in India and comes with 20 safety features. The BGauss D15 electric scooter is equipped with a smart battery and motor controller all developed and designed in-house at its Chakan plant. The BG D15 is equipped with a completely waterproof, IP 67 rated, electric motor and battery with protection against extreme heat and dust.
Additionally, the company will offer annual maintenance support, mobile app support, Roadside Assistance, and pick & drop facilities to their customers with the new electric scooter.
