TVS Motor Company dropped the curtains off its maiden annual motorcycling event - MotoSoul 2019, and made some major announcements amidst the media as well as owners and enthusiasts. In addition to introducing the Dakar rider squad for 2020, the company has launched the TVS Racing Performance Gear for the masses, which the combines premium build quality with new-age urban design, the Hosur-based manufacturer said in a statement. The first-ever edition of MotoSoul has witnessed over 2500 people in attendance in Goa, and is a congregation of the Apache Owners Groups (AOGs) from across the globe, making it the perfect platform to introduce the new riding gear.

British bike maker, Triumph Motorcycles has announced a host of offers for the festive season on select motorcycles. The offers include accessories, and freebies up to Rs. 2.8 lakh, along with additional warranty. The new offers extend on the Triumph Street Triple RS, the Tiger 800 XR, Tiger 1200 and the Bonneville T100, which remain popular sellers for the manufacturer in India. The schemes though are available on limited stock. Triumph says the offers cannot be exchanged for cash benefits, and are valid only till October 27, 2019.

TVS Motor Company's EBITDA for the quarter ended in September 2019 increased by 8.8 per cent as compared to 8.6 per cent in Q2 of 2018-19 and 8 per cent in Q1 of 2019-20.

Yamaha Motor India announced earlier this year that will roll-out the Bharat Stage 6 (BS6) compliant two-wheelers by November 2019, and now details have been leaked on the updated versions of the FZ and FZ-S motorcycles. The 2020 Yamaha FZ, FZ-S will soon meet the stringent emission norms and a leaked document suggests that the motorcycles will see a revision in power figures. The leaked image reveals that the technical specifications remain unchanged on the updated FZ and FZ-S FI models with power coming from the same 149 cc single-cylinder engine, but the unit will make only 12.2 bhp, instead of the current 13.1 bhp on offer. That said, power does arrive early at 7250 rpm, as opposed to 8000 rpm on the current model.

The manufacturer, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in the United States, has turned to electric vehicles to attract younger riders as it grapples with an aging customer base and a lack of innovation in its range.
