Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr Adventure Bike Spied Testing In India

- Powered by a parallel-twin 486 cc mill registering 47 bhp and 43 Nm.
- Features a rugged design, cross-spoke rims and Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres.
- Expected launch by end of 2025.
European-designed and Chinese-manufactured, Brixton Motorcycles, made its foray into India last year by launching four models, the Crossfire 500X and its scrambler-derivative the Crossfire 500XC, and the Cromwell 1200 along with the higher-spec Cromwell 1200X. Now, it seems that the company is gearing up to launch its fifth motorcycle in India. A test mule of the Crossfire 500 Storr adventure bike was spotted testing in India, a mid-size adventure tourer that has been on sale in the international market for some time now and its sighting is India is a strong indication that is could be launched in India this year.

Visually, the Crossfire 500 Storr has strong resemblance to the Royal Enfield Himalayan, but its pack its own design highlights that give is an even more rugged look. The utilitarian look is accentuated thanks to the prominent fuel tank cage, large fuel tank, luggage rack, exposed frame, and cross-spoke rims. The seat is long and so is the tail section allowing ample space for the pillion and mounting luggage. The tail windscreen and upswept exhaust complete the adventure-focussed character.

The Crossfire 500 Storr is equipped with long-travel suspension at both ends accompanied by a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear cross-spoke wheels shod with Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR tyres. Braking duties will be handled by a disc brake at both ends equipped with dual-channel ABS and possibly switchable traction control as well. The motorcycle is a long wheelbase and a high ground clearance which should allow it to tackle obstacles and challenging road terrains with ease.
Powering the Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr is a 486 cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that puts out 47 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,700 rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. The motorcycle has a seat height of 839 mm, fuel tank capacity of 16 litres and tips the scale at 209 kg.
While there is no official confirmation on the launch date, considering the fact that the test mule seemed to be close to being production ready, we expect the launch to be towards the end of 2025, around the festive season. In terms of competition, the Brixton Crossfire 500 Storr will go up against the likes of the Honda NX500 and the CFMoto 450MT. Pricing will be a critical factor for the success of the Crossfire 500 Storr and the brand needs to price it competitively to have buyers inclined to buy the Crossfire 500 Storr.
