Citroen C3 Deliveries Commence in India

Citroen has commenced customer deliveries of the new C3 hatchback in India. The French brand launched its maiden mass market model in India last week, with bookings open since July 1. The C3 is a petrol-only model with buyers offered a choice of two variants, two engine options and a list of accessories to customise their car.
Citroen for now has commenced deliveries via its La Maison dealership network located across 19 cities in India. At the time of launch, the carmaker had said that it would also be home delivering cars to customers in over 90 cities across the country though that has yet to commence.

The C3 is available in two trim levels Live and Feel. The former packs in basic equipment such as front power windows, manual air conditioning, ABS, rear parking sensors and dual airbags. The Feel variant packs in more tech such as a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless smartphone connectivity, remote keyless entry, a four-speaker audio system, rear power windows and steering-mounted controls among others. Additionally, Citroen is offering a number of accessories that buyers can opt for at the time of bookings their vehicle.

The naturally aspirated petrol is available across both variants with a 5-speed manual gearbox while the turbo-petrol is only available on the top-spec Feel and comes with a 6-speed manual.
In terms of competition, the C3 goes up against the likes of the Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
