- Musk also admitted that self driving has been harder than he predicted
Elon Musk Says Tesla Plaid UI Coming To Model 3 & Y With FSD Release Tesla supremo, Elon Musk has revealed that the full self-driving beta, dubbed FSD9 is coming soon to the owners of the Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. This development comes after Musk teasing the feature for around 10 months and moe recently Tesla announcing the removal of radars from its vehicles and dully depending on something it likes to call Tesla Vision. Tesla also recently unveiled a new supercomputer on which it trained the algorithms for its new self-driving AI which will be harnessing the data sourced in real-time from the sensors and cameras of its vehicles alongside the data it has generally accumulated from all its vehicles running either the beta or Autopilot. This comes after the world's second-richest man tweeted that he had underestimated how hard self-driving cars can be.
undefinedHaha, FSD 9 beta is shipping soon, I swear!

Generalized self-driving is a hard problem, as it requires solving a large part of real-world AI. Didn't expect it to be so hard, but the difficulty is obvious in retrospect.
Nothing has more degrees of freedom than reality.

While there is still no timeline for these updates, the new Tesla Model S Plaid has launched with a new user interface which Musk calls “mind of car”. He says that this user interface is coming to the more affordable Tesla models.
“Yes, updated UI coming with FSD wide release. All cars with FSD computer will have a new “mind of car” view. All 3/Y can be upgraded to have FSD computer,” he tweeted.
