Elon Musk Scolds Tesla FSD Beta Tester After He Complains On Twitter

- Elon Musk has often faced criticism for advertising AutoPilot as self driving
- The Twitter user in question complained about the latest FSD beta
- FSD beta is the new version of autopilot that depends on AI algorithms trained on a Supercomputer
Elon Musk told a Tesla FSD Beta tester to not ask to be included in early beta releases if they were going to complain with issues on Twitter. Replying to James Locke, who said, “Unfortunately I have to say I'm still having to intervene to correct #FSDBeta 10.69 in my area. Still lots of work to go. I know this is probably not a popular opinion but the focusing on the "Chuck" complex left is getting ahead of the needs of some more basic control issues” in a tweet.

Musk retorted stating that “10.69 is in limited release for a reason. Please do not ask to be included in early beta releases and then complain.” Locke went ahead and apologised to Musk for complaining as well. Musk further commented on a tweet that was supporting Locke’s critique.
“I do not doubt that. Criticism, public or private, is welcome after we go to wide beta. Early beta has many known issues. The reason we release it to a limited number of cars is to discover unknown issues,” Musk explained, replying to a tweet by twitter user @rationaletienne.
Many people also took to twitter and joined the thread complaining about the recent price hike. People pointed out despite the cost the system struggled to change lanes. Tesla will be charging an extra $3,000 for FSD starting from September 5. This comes after a $2,000 in January which means FSD has increased by 50 percent in the last 8 months.
This also comes after US regulators have criticised Tesla for its AutoPilot branding as functionally it is just level 2 ADAS. Tesla has been struggling with launching its Cybertruck which has now been postponed to 2023.
