It was at the 2018 Auto Expo that Emflux showcased the Emflux One, an electric superbike, manufactured by an Indian company. The Emflux One will go on sale sometime in the first half of 2019 and now the company has teased a new electric naked streetfighter motorcycle which has been named Emflux Two, aptly. Emflux is already working on the 'Two' and has made some headway as far as design and technology is concerned. Emflux is currently readying the 'One' for production and once it goes on sale, the company will reveal the Emflux Two.
There are no details available with regards to specifications and features for the Emflux Two but it could be possible that the 'Two' uses the same platform and electric motor as the 'One'. Speaking about the Emflux One, it uses a Samsung Lithium Ion 9.7 kWh high power cells with a 60 kW AC induction motor, with power limited to 53 kW from the controller.
The Emflux One has a top speed of 200 kmph with an acceleration of 0-100 kmph in just 3 seconds. The motor produces 71 bhp of power and 84 Nm of peak torque, which has been electronically limited to 75 Nm. The design and circuits of the Emflux One have been developed completely in-house by Emflux Motors.
The Emflux One will have a range of around 200 km on standard operating conditions. The company intends to start exports of the electric motorcycles as well, and currently discussions are on with distributors from different countries across Europe, Canada, Mexico and Australia. The expected pricing of the Emflux One will be around ₹ 5.5 to ₹ 6 lakh.
