Ford EcoSport S Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs. 11.37 Lakh

- These special editions consist only of cosmetic updates on the EcoSport
- The 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine makes a comeback with the EcoSport S
- Both special editions of the EcoSport get a sunroof
Ford India has launched two new editions of the EcoSport subcompact SUV. These are the EcoSport S and the EcoSport Signature Edition. Both new editions will be available in petrol and diesel engine options. The EcoSport Signature petrol is priced at Rs. 10.4 lakh while the EcoSport Signature diesel is priced at Rs. 10.99 lakh. Both variants are based on the Titanium variant of the standard model. Coming to the Ford EcoSport S, the petrol variant is priced at Rs. 11.37 lakh while the EcoSport S diesel is priced at Rs. 11.89 lakh.All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Talking about the EcoSport S first, it gets a sunroof, which Ford India is calling 'Fun-roof'. Also, the EcoSport S now gets a 1.0-litre petrol EcoBoost engine, which makes 123 bhp and 170 Nm. There are a few cosmetic updates to the SUV as well. It now features smoked HID headlamps with dark inserts and a blacked out fog lamp bezel. The grille upfront along with the roof and the roof-rails has been blacked out as well. The 17-inch alloys on the SUV too get a smoked treatment as well. The interior too get orange accents on the seats and the instrument panel to freshen up the feel of the cabin. The EcoSport S gets a bigger, 4.2-inch digital instrument cluster which also features a tyre pressure monitoring system as well. Ford will offer six airbags on the EcoSport S along with the SYNC 3 infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen.
