Former Audi VP Thomas Muller Appointed Jaguar Land Rover's Director Of Product Engineering

- Mulller joins from Audi where he was the VP for R&D for ADAS
- He replaces Nick Rogers who left JLR last year
- Muller comes with over 20 years of experience in the auto industry
Thomas Muller who most recently was Audi's Vice President for research and development for ADAS has joined Jaguar Land Rover as the director product engineering. Muller is an executive with 20 years of experience with a focus on ADAS and autonomous driving technology and at the Volkswagen group he used to be part of its software subsidiary CARIAD.
"I am thrilled to join the Jaguar Land Rover team at a pivotal point in the company's transformation. We have a truly exciting opportunity. By fully implementing agile principles, automating engineering processes and applying innovative product development methods, we will bring to life a new generation of electrified Jaguar and Land Rover models that embody our modern luxury philosophy. Jaguar and Land Rover are already renowned for their peerless design and dynamic capability. I'm looking forward to further contributing to the success of these amazing brands and products as we pioneer a new era of electric power and digitalisation," said Thomas Muller on his appointment.

He will be the director of product engineering at JLR
Jaguar Land Rover has been focusing on the reimagine strategy which has a focus on sustainability, re imagination of luxurious design and an aim for net zero carbon emissions across its supply chain, products, operations by 2039. Muller will play a key role in a bid for the automaker to achieve these goals. He succeeds Nick Rogers who previously held this role till the end of 2021.
