(Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe will get a V8 or hybrid V6 option)
Mercedes AMG GT 4-Door Coupe
While electric cars are cool, twin turbo V8 powered super sedans are hot! And hot is exactly what we would call the brand spanking new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe! With either 639 or 585 bhp on tap, the AMG GT 4-door is the best way to scare the daylights out of your four passengers with 0-100 kmph times of as low as 3.2 seconds! And its not only the muscle underneath that we love but that beautiful swooping coupe like body too! The AMG GT 4-door Coupe will also feature a hybrid option with a V6 twin turbo 53 spec engine with 435 bhp and 520 Nm of torque along with an electric motor that makes 22 bhp and 250 Nm of torque. It will also come with all-wheel drive.
(BMW M8 Gran Coupe will pack a twin turbo V8 engine)
BMW M8 Gran Coupe
From one german super saloon to another. But this one has the BMW and more importantly, the M badge on it! The all new BMW M8 Gran Coupe Concept! Making its global debut at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show, the M8 Gran Coupe will make it to production sometime next year as a 4-door version of the 8 series lineup. The M8 will of course be the fire breathing version of the regular 8-series Gran Coupe and if the concepts are any indication, the production cars should look quite stunning indeed! The 8 series will also be the new flagship 4-door coupe and GT or sportscar offering in the BMW range when released next year.
(Ferrari 488 Pista packs 711 bhp of peak power)
Ferrari 488 Pista
And now for one of the most popular cars at this years Geneva Auto show.... Especially if banter on social media is any indication of popularity. The brand new Ferrari 488 Pista. Now before you wonder what we just said, yes, the car is called the Pista and no, it has nothing to do with the dry fruit. Pista in Italian means track and that's exactly the environment this new performance Ferrari is meant for. What is essentially the performance version of the regular 488 GTB, the Pista gets from 0-100 in just 2.8 seconds and on to a top speed of 240 kmph! The car packs a 3.9-litre twin turbo V8 packing 711 bhp of peak power and 770 Nm of peak torque.

One of the stars of the 2018 Geneva Auto Show, especially in an Indian context is this, the all-new Santa Fe! The flagship Hyundai SUV made its public debut at the show this year with its absolutely sexy and butch styling. The Santa Fe gets a range of petrol engines and a diesel engine with both manual and auto gearboxes. As with all generations in the past, the Santa Fe also gets three row of seats that can fit seven people. Expect it to make it to India sometime early next year to take on the likes of the Ford Endeavour and the Toyota Fortuner.
(Toyota Supra makes a long awaited comeback)
Toyota Supra
One of the most awaited launches of the Geneva auto show wasn't an SUV or an electric car or a million horsepower hypercar. It was actually the return of a model name from Toyota that is revered by all in automotive circles. The Supra! Although everyone expected the road going version of the car to make its highly anticipated and much awaited debut at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show, what was showcased instead was a track only race version. Made by Gazoo Racing, the people who run the Toyota factory race teams, this is the GR Supra Racing Concept. The car showcased features a whole bunch of go fast bits that are unlikely to make it to production - like the carbon fibre doors, composite body panels and plastic windows for example. Th GR Supra Racing concept also had a full race ready interior with a race seat, roll cage and an assortment of switches and dials.
(Range Rover SV Coupe is limited to only 999 units)
Range Rover SV Coupe
The Range Rover SV Coupe. Limited to just 999 units and made by the Special Vehicle Operations at JLR, the Range Rover SV is the first ever full sized but still two door luxury SUV. The SV Coupe will feature a range of customisation options but will come standard with the massive glass panoramic roof, unique side vent and for the first time ever on a Land Rover, massive 23-inch wheels! (Tata EVision Sedan Concept comes with an all-electric drivetrain)
Tata EVision
The EVision showcases the impact Design 2.0 from Tata Motors, similar to the one seen on the other two concept cars. However, the Tata EVision Sedan looks a lot sleeker than anything else we have ever seen in the history of the brand and yes, it is an all electric car! While not much has been revealed in terms of a powertrain, the EVision is based on the new Omega platform that also underpins the H5X. The sedan also features a minimalistic interior design with a light palette and wood inserts. The dashboard features a hideaway infotainment screen, an all digital cockpit and a third screen inbuilt into the dashboard. While the EVision is just a concept as of now, we would personally love to see this one make it to production!
(Rimac C_Two Electric Hypercar Unveiled at the 2018 Geneva Auto Show)
Rimac C_Two
If numbers and specs were all that was important, we have left the greatest for last. While this next car might come from an automaker that you probably haven't heard of, the numbers it puts out will make you sit up and listen. So here they go. 1,887 bhp of peak power, 2,300 Nm of peak torque, a top speed of 412 kmph and 0-100 kmph in 1.97 seconds! The brand new Rimac C_Two! Rimac is an electric mobility solutions provider and hypercar maker from Croatia and the C Two is their second hypercar. The new car comes with a range of active aero too making it not just a straight line missile.
