Motorsport in itself is expensive. Even if you have the talent, you may not be able in to compete at a high level due to lack of finances. This is the harsh truth about motorsport.
Your skill is not the only thing you would need to compete, you also need a fortune.
Especially when you are getting started with motorsport, such as competing in four-wheeler racing, you need a car. And cars used in racing don't come for cheap. Sponsors are hard to come by in the initial stages, so you need a good amount of money to get started.
Driving Academies
To get started in motorsport, you need to have the correct guidance and appropriate knowledge for the same. The best way to get training is to get into a driving academy, put together by professional racers and experts.
Various Formula 1 teams have their own driver academies, which they use to look out for young talented drivers, however, they are very difficult to get into, so you need to have the skills for the motorsport you want to get started with.
Once you get in touch with experienced people in the field, they help in various ways such as finding sponsors, career guidance, fitness advice, media training, and much more. This can prove to be a massive boost in your career as well as confidence.

Karting
Many F1 racers start their career through karting at a very young age, even as young as 3 to 5 years old. Karting can be the first step in your career in racing. Karting can be an ideal start to racing, as it gives a platform to race in a local racing competition as well as in international championships.

Driving Talent
Apart from every other factor, having talent is the most important thing you will need, to be among top competitors. Possessing exceptional skill can make a huge difference in the world of motorsport, as it not only helps you gain fame and money but also respect and admiration among your competitors as well as the audience.
