Honda X-Blade Bookings Commence In India; To Be Priced Under Rs. 79,000

- Honda X-Blade will be priced under Rs. 79,000 (ex-showroom)
- Honda X-Blade deliveries will begin in March 2018
- The Honda X-Blade is based on the Honda CB Hornet 160R
Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has commenced accepting bookings for the new X-Blade premium commuter motorcycle across all its dealerships. The new Honda X-Blade was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2018 and will be positioned below the Honda CB Hornet 160R in the manufacturer's stable. In fact, the new X-Blade shares its underpinnings with the Hornet 160R, while getting a sharper design language and an all-LED headlamp cluster, the latter being increasingly common in Honda's product line-up. HMSI says the decision to open bookings for the X-Blade was taken after the overwhelming response to the X-Blade at the Auto Expo 2018. The new motorcycle will be competing against the likes of the Suzuki Gixxer and the Bajaj Pulsar NS 160 in the segment.

"Honda unveiled its 4th brand new model of 2018 - the X-Blade at Auto Expo 2018. We are indeed very excited to receive unprecedented response from Generation Z. We are happy to open the bookings for the all-new Honda X-Blade today. Delighting young Indian trendsetters with revolutionary segment first features, Honda's ultimate head turner X-Blade will surprise Indian youth with its aggressive price of under 79,000 (Ex-showroom, Delhi). The X-Blade deliveries will start from the middle of March on first-come-first-serve basis," said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India.
The new Honda X-Blade is built on the Honda CB Hornet 160R platform, sharing the same engine, chassis and cycle parts. Honda says the engine has been tuned differently to give the X-Blade better in-city performance, while offering superior fuel economy. The X-Blade gets re-worked bodywork, as well as an all-new, full LED headlamp cluster and is available in a choice of five different colours. Priced under Rs. 79,000 (ex-showroom), the Honda X-Blade offers a stylish and youthful 160 cc motorcycle at a very attractive price.
