Hyundai i20 Coupe's Sketch Revealed

Hyundai, the South-Korean carmaker, that launched the new-gen i20 aka Elite i20 in India, will now showcase the car at the upcoming Paris Motor Show in October. Along with the regular hatchback model, Hyundai will also debut a three-door version of the hatchback, the i20 coupe.

"The new model promises to combine driving fun, a distinctive character and sporty refinement, with the enhanced practicality and quality already previewed in its five-door sibling ", Hyundai said in a statement.

Talking about the design, the i20 coupe features a more sharply raked roof-line and a different roof spoiler. It gets wrap-around rear window and a different treatment for the tail-lamp clusters. However, it largely looks similar to the five-door version of the hatchback that we have in India.

Like the five-door version, the i20 coupe was also designed and developed at Hyundai Motor's Design Centre Europe in Russelsheim, Germany. More details about the coupe version are expected to be revealed closer to its unveiling.
