Lamborghini Urus SUV Sold Out Till 2019, In India

- Lamborghini says they have got phenomenal response for the Urus in India
- Lamborghini India is now accepting orders for early 2019 deliveries
- Lamborghini hasn't revealed the number of Urus SUVs allotted for India
The Lamborghini Urus SUV has finally gone on sale in India with an decent price tag of Rs. 3 Crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The car made its global debut a little over a month ago, on December 4, 2017 and now the company claims that they have exhausted almost all the Lamborghini Urus SUVs allotted for India, for the year 2018. This means, if you are planning to get one today you will have to wait till early 2019 before you can get your hands on the car, because Lamborghini India has sold out all the Urus SUV allotted for 2018, in India.

Commenting on the response that the company has received for the Lamborghini Urus in India and the sold-out cars, Sharad Agarwal, Head of Lamborghini India said, "Since its global launch on 4th of December at Sant'Agata Bolognese in 2017, the response has been very phenomenal for the Urus. In fact, since we had announced the Urus concept, a lot of customers had been waiting for this car and for us to formally announce that 'yes, we can accept orders now'. We have got a phenomenal response in India, we are almost sold out of what has been allocated for 2018 and now are accepting orders for early 2019 deliveries."

Coming to the car itself, for Rs. 3 crore, what the Lamborghini Urus SUV actually offers you are, the bragging rights to own the world's fastest SUV (top-speed 305 kmph), which can accommodate 5 passengers, offering all the comfort and entertainment features. In fact, the Lamborghini Urus SUV also comes with a considerable boot space of 616 litres with all the seats up and about 1600 litres with the rear seats down. Being a Lamborghini, the Urus SUV also gets a host of sporty functions like - adaptive air suspension, active damping, four-wheel drive and four-wheel steering among others.

Lamborghini Urus comes with a proper 5-seater cabin and a 616-litre boot space
The Lamborghini Urus SUV is powered by a new 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine, a first turbo in the automaker's history. The turbocharged engine produces about 641 bhp and develops a massive 850 Nm of peak torque, while the motor comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV also comes with a central torsion differential 4 Wheel Drive with torque vectoring rear differential. As for performance figures, the Lamborghini Urus goes from 0-100 kmph in 3.6-seconds before the top speed of 305 kmph. The Lamborghini Urus also comes with immense braking power thanks to the special Carboceramics Disc Brakes, which allow the car to decelerate from 100-0 kmph within 33.7 metres.
Currently, Lamborghini has showrooms in three cities across India - Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru. While the Italian hasn't revealed any number, the Mumbai dealer is said to have been allotted about 10-12 units of the Lamborghini Urus SUV for 2018 and all of them have been sold out. Having said that you can still book the new Lamborghini Urus today, but, as mentioned earlier, you will get the delivery only in 2019.
