Toyota Motor Corporation's luxury brand Lexus has been a much awaited one, only to be postponed time and again. Nevertheless, we recently told you that the luxury automaker will finally make its India entry early next year, starting operations with two dealerships located in Mumbai and Delhi. Lexus RC-F Now, ahead of the launch, Lexus has commenced importing its models in the country and the upcoming luxury cars were spotted at what seems to be a stockyard. The models in question include the RX 450h as well as the drool worthy RC-F coupe. The Lexus RX 450h locks horns with the Audi Q5, Mercedes GLC and the likes Starting with the latter, the Lexus RC-F is the automaker's top-of-the-line performance coupe and is crackling of a model. Power comes from a 5.0-litre V8 VVT-i petrol engine tuned to produce 460bhp of power and 527Nm of torque available at 4800rm. The RC-F will be appreciated by those who prefer power being sent just to the rear wheels and helping it do the same is an 8-speed Sport Direct-Shift transmission. The RX 450h will get a hybrid powertrain in India With no dearth in power, the Lexus RC-F is capable of doing the 0-100 km/h run in 4.4 seconds and can hit a top speed of 270 km/h. With promising figures and unique styling, the Lexus stands out while competing against the likes of the Jaguar F-Type, BMW M4, Audi RS5 among others in the segment. Lexus is expected to commence operations early next year The Lexus RX 450h, on the other hand, is a Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3 rival and will be available in the hybrid version. A sharp looking SUV with the trademark Lexus grille, the RX 450h is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 VVT-i petrol engine that comes paired to an electric motor and belts out a combined output of 304bhp. Later in the timeline, the RX 450h could get the standard and F-sport variants.
