Limited Edition Fiat 500-60th Anniversary Edition Model Launched

- Fiat will only make 250 examples of the Fiat 500-60th
- Over six million Fiat 500s have been sold globally in the past 60 years
- First 60 units will get an individually numbered limited edition plate
The Fiat 500 has been one of the most iconic cars in the world and this year its makers are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the original Fiat 500. Commemorating the anniversary, the company has now launched a new limited edition Fiat 500-60th model which has now gone on sale in the UK. Fiat Chrysler Automobile (FCA) will be making only 250 examples of this new limited edition Fiat 500-60th. The car is currently available for order and deliveries in the UK will begin from the 4th of July 2017.
Over six million Fiat 500s have been sold globally in the past six decades. Just 250 units of this model will make their way to the UK, and the first 60 units built will be completed with an individually numbered limited edition plate and certificate of authenticity.

Fiat 500-60th Anniversary Edition Badging
Talking about the design and styling, special edition Fiat 500-60th comes with a grey fabric roof and Dolcevita bi-colour paintwork, combining tri-coat white for the body of the car and pastel ivory for the bonnet and pillars. Other features include a chrome covers for the exterior mirrors and special 16-inch alloy wheels with white diamond finish that pay homage to the styling cues of the original Fiat 500. Fiat will be badging the car with vintage Fiat logos and a bespoke 500-60th insignia, with the numbers '6' and '0' in red incorporated into the last two figures of the 500 logo.

The cabin will feature a bordeaux vinyl dashboard and vintage Fiat logo clad steering wheel complement the retro inspired ivory leather seats, with contrasting bordeaux piping, ivory leather gear knob, bespoke floor mats and 500-60th kickplates. On the other hand, the equipment list is quite modern with features like - a 7-inch HD Uconnect Radio Live touchscreen system with Bluetooth, satellite navigation and USB and AUX IN ports, multi-function steering wheel, rain and dusk sensors, cruise control, automatic climate control, fog lights and rear parking sensors. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both now available as standard.

Under the hood, this special Fiat 500-60th comes with the option of three engines- 68 bhp 1.2 litre petrol motor and two 0.9 litre TwinAir motors making 84 bhp and 104 bhp respectively. Transmission options include a manual gearbox and Fiat's Dualogic gearbox.
