Maserati Releases First Images Of New Ghibli Granlusso

- New Ghibli Granlusso will debut at the Chengdu Motor show in China
- Maserati last updated the Ghibli four years back
- It also gets active ADAS function for autonomous driving
Maserati releases the first images of the new Ghibli Granlusso version, which is restyled and enriched with additional high-tech features. The new Ghibli Granlusso will make its debut at the Chengdu Motor show in China on August 25, 2017. After four years of success in the international market, the Italian sports sedan will finally get an important upgrade in terms of design and technological contents.

The new Ghibli Granlusso showcases a new front bumper with dedicated chrome inserts and new front grille with chrome bars, in line with the latest Maserati models style signature. In profile, the Granlusso badge at the bases of the front fenders and body colour side skirts, identify the specific version. The new rear bumper, together with the body colour rear extractor, is elegantly redesigned to give a sharper look to the model compared to the previous version.

The restyling of the new Ghibli Granlusso is contributed to a substantial improvement of the aerodynamic efficiency. Together with the exterior restyling, the new Ghibli Granlusso introduces features such as Adaptive full LED Headlights with glare free Matrix High-Beam for a distinctive look and even better illumination. New active ADAS functionalities are also available in the Ghibli Granlusso, allowing Maserati to enter the world of autonomous driving.

Although, the company has not revealed the interiors, we expect it to carry forward the last update which it received last year. With a 8.4-inch multi-touch display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, the Ghibli Granlusso also gets improved aero-acoustic comfort and noise reduction.
Under the hood of the new Ghibli Granlusso is a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine that has the ability to churn out 354 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, mated to an 8-Speed ZF automatic transmission.
