Mercedes-Benz India has officially announced the launch of special editions of the A-Class and B-Class on June 24. Based on the A-Class A 180 CDI and the B-Class B 180 CDI, these special versions will be called as the 'Edition 1'.

Features to be offered with these special editions are panoramic sunroof, new reverse camera, electrically adjustable front passenger seat, centre arm rest, new alloy wheels and few others. Moreover, both the cars will get Edition 1 badge.

Mechanically, both the cars will remain unchanged, powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel mill, capable of churning out a maximum power output of 107bhp. If reports are to be believed, Mercedes will also increase the ground clearance of both the cars. The company seems to have taken this decision after hearing complaints from customers for low ground clearance.
