Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ Hot Hatchback Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 79.50 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the new AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ in India priced at Rs. 79.50 lakh (ex-showroom). This is the hottest hatchback on sale right now in the country and packs a whopping 415 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque from its 2.0-litre four-cylinder, turbocharged engine. 0-100 kmph comes in 3.9 seconds and the car has a top speed of 270 kmph. In fact, the AMG mill is the world's most powerful four-cylinder engine in series production and follows AMG's one engine, one mechanic philosophy. The model is made in Affalterbach in Germany and comes to India as a Completely Built Unit.

The Mercedes-AMG A 45 S arrives in a single variant with the S suffix adding another 33 bhp over the standard model

The new Mercedes-AMG A 45 S gets the AMG SPEEDSHIFT DCT 8G transmission specially tuned to the requirements of the powerful engine. It also comes with AMG Active Ride Control and the fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system. The model technically sits on top of the A-Class family, both in price and power.

The A 45 S AMG gets the AMG Driver's package as standard that limits the top speed to 270 kmph
Compared to the AMG A 35, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S gets a reinforced shell, stiffer suspension, larger brakes and even a different steering wheel. The body shell has also been reinforced for better stability and dynamic handling at high speeds. The car also comes with a specific Race mode in addition to the different driving modes available, while you also get the AMG Drift mode.
Visually, the Mercedes-AMG A 45 S 4MATIC+ differentiates itself with the Panamericana grille, Multibeam LED headlamps, new signature LED taillights, wider wheel arches that accommodate the massive 19-inch alloy wheels. The A 45 S AMG does not have a direct rival in India and deliveries will begin in a few days from now.
