Petr Solc Appointed New Director Of Sales & Marketing At Skoda India

- Petr Solc to take over new role from September 1
- Zac Hollis to move to a new role at the Volkswagen Group
- Solc was previously the Head of Skoda in Russia
Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd has appointed Petr Solc as Skoda India’s new Director of Sales and Marketing. Solc will replace Zac Hollis for the position who will be moving to a new role within the Volkswagen Group. Solc will assume his new role from September 1 while Hollis will continue to be with Skoda India till September 30.
Solc has worked with the Skoda brand globally for over 17 years moving to India after having headed the brand in Russia. His responsibilities in his new role will include driving the growth of the Skoda brand in India which has seen a growth in sales in recent months following the launch of its new India 2.0 range of cars and SUVs with the company on its way to recording its best year in India till date.
Zac Hollis will remain with Skoda India till September 30 before moving to a new role in the Volkswagen Group

Solc began his career at Skoda in 2005 in its Central European Sales department before moving on to hold managerial positions in sales in the Northern European Region. In 2013 he was appointed to Skoda UK where he was responsible for the brand's sales planning and supply. In 2016 he took charge as Head of Sales for Easter Europe. Solc also has experience developing the Skoda brand in markets such as Africa and Australia.
