Revolt Motors Teases New Features Of Revolt RV 400

- Revolt Motors releases teaser videos for upcoming announcement
- New product, or new feature to existin electric bike range expected
- The announcement will be made at 12 noon on September 9, 2021
Revolt Motors has been constantly updating its electric motorcycles. Just last month, Revolt Motors introduced a new Swipe to Start feature for its range of electric motorcycles, enabling keyless start through the MyRevolt mobile application. Now, Revolt Motors has teased yet another upgrade, possibly another new ingenious feature on its Revolt RV 400 electric motorcycle, which will be announced on World EV Day, on September 9, 2021. So far, there's no word on what the new feature will be, or if it will be a ground-up new EV product, but Revolt has released a couple of teaser videos on its social media channels, so some announcement will certainly be coming at 12 noon on September 9.

The AI-enabled Revolt electric motorcycle is now keyless and allows the user to switch on the bike with the swipe to start feature. The feature also allows the user the freedom to use the bike keyless and can also perform all functions - lock, unlock, and locate their bike via the MyRevolt mobile application.

In June 2021, the prices of the Revolt RV 400 were slashed after price benefits announced in the recent revisions of the FAME II (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles) subsidy for electric vehicles. The company's flagship electric motorcycle, Revolt RV 400 got a price reduction of Rs. 28,000 as a result of the revised incentives, and is now priced at Rs. 90,799. Previously, the RV 400 was priced at Rs. 1,19,000.

With a 108 kg kerb weight, the RV 400 is light and nimble, and handling is quite likeable around corners
The Revolt RV400 comes with a 3KW (Mid Drive) motor, powered by a 72V, 3.24 kWh lithium-ion battery and has a top speed of 85 kmph. The electric bike can be operated through the MyRevolt App, which offers connectivity features such as bike locator/geo-fencing, customised sounds that can be changed with just a tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and kilometres done, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the electric bike's battery at, and be on-the-move in less than 60 seconds.
