Steelbird helmets have launched yet another variant under its AIR family of helmets. Named as the SBA 1 Free Live, the helmet gets Steelbird's ventilation technology which keeps the head cool even in scorching temperature, or so Steelbird says. The ventilation technology was developed by Steelbird's R&D centre in Italy, keeping in mind the extreme weather conditions in India. The country's largest helmet manufacturer also claims that the temperature inside the head is almost 4-5 degree Celsius cooler than the ambient temperature. The helmets have three vents for air inflow and has one for vent for the hot air to pass through towards the rear of the helmet.
