These helicopters are armed with rockets, machine guns, and often anti-tank missiles. These aircraft are some of the most potent weaponry in modern history. Let's dive in and see which are the most powerful military helicopters in the world!
Mil Mi-28 (Havoc) - Russia
NATO calls this gunship "Havoc," and it is a Russian-made helicopter. This beast is designed to function in all types of weather conditions and is a fully dedicated anti-armour attack helicopter. The helicopter came into Russian Military service in 2009 but was designed in 1982. About 126 Havocs have been produced until now, and some of them have been exported to Iraq and Algeria. The Russians used this gunship in their Syria intervention.

Denel Rooivalk - South Africa
The word "Rooivalk" means "Red Falcon" in Afrikaans, and this helicopter is designed and manufactured in South Africa. It took its first flight in 1990, and the South African military got it in 2011. Only 12 of these were ever procured, and these are one of the least used helicopters out there.
It is a complicated and remarkable piece of military weaponry, and one was written off after an accident. South Africa did a great job with this gunship.
