Air Conditioner
You will notice that your windshield fogs up when your windows are rolled up during the rainy season. To fix this, you need to turn on your a/c and keep it at the same temperature as outside. This will prevent fogging, and you will be able to see clearly.
Tyres
Always check if your tires have enough tread to have a grip on the roads. Worn-out tyres can pose a danger to you and others on the road. During the rain, your tyres need to have more grip than in the summer season, for example.
Wipers
The wipers will be used a lot when it is raining. You need to ensure that your wipers at the front and rear are working properly. If not, you can easily replace them as they are inexpensive.

This tip is essential for people who ride motorbikes. Firstly, you should understand that bikers are more prone to accidents in the rain as the bikes' tire surface area is less prone to skidding. The strong gusts of wind can create problems for you, and the umbrella can play the role of a parachute, lifting the person holding it up. This might result in the driver losing control and ultimately causing accidents.
Slow Driving Around Curves
The tire grip weakens during monsoons, and you need to carefully take turns around the corners. Your car is more prone to skidding around curves, and there might even be some blind spots that you miss out on due to poor visibility. Ensure to drive slow and keep yourself and others safe.
Be Cautious & Attentive
At least in our country, the roads get flooded during rains. The sides of the roads or the footpath usually get submerged, and the level between the road and footpath essentially becomes the same. This is when it becomes dangerous as you might not notice that there is a footpath on your side and might go over it. You should also drive slow and be attentive as there might be potholes, and you can go right over them, causing you all kinds of problems.

During heavy rains, it becomes difficult to see. The visibility reduces, and drivers in large vehicles such as trucks cannot see smaller cars even from a few meters away. Keep all your lights open (headlights, foglights, DRLs, and taillights) so that your visibility is apparent on the roads. All these lights will help other cars see you and ensure the safety of others and yourself.
