Two-Wheeler Sales December 2017: Bajaj Posts 13 Per Cent Growth

Bajaj Auto had an interesting 2017 with quite a few new products and some important business partnerships as well. And to cap the year off, Bajaj posted a 13 per cent growth for its two-wheeler sales in December 2017. The company sold a total of 228,762 units in December 2017 in comparison to 203,312 units sold in December 2016. Domestically, Bajaj sold 112,930 units which is a growth of 6 per cent over 106,665 units sold in December 2016. Coming to exports, the company sold 115,832 units in December 2017 in comparison to 96,647 units sold in December 2016, showing a growth of 20 per cent.
As far as commercial vehicles are concerned, the company sold 36,579 units in December 2017 registering a growth of 180 per cent as it sold 13,060 units in December 2016. Bajaj also exported 27,206 CV units in December 2017 in comparison to 9,157 units sold in the corresponding month in 2016, posting a growth of 197 per cent. In fact, Bajaj sold a total of 63, 785 units in December 2017 which is the company's highest ever monthly sales for commercial vehicles.
