This is UML's first dealership in India
UM Motorcycles had previously announced that it will have a vast dealer network in place in the coming months with showrooms to follow in 24 cities including Noida, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Amritsar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Aurangabad, Thane, Kolhapur, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Kochi, Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, Guwahati, Imphal and Aizawl.

UM's first dealership is located in Connaught Place, Delhi
UM Motorcycles launched two motorcycles at the Expo this year, namely the Renegade Commando and Renegade Sport S, priced at Rs. 1.49 lakh and 1.59 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively. The company had announced in May this year that it had received over 1000 bookings for its cruisers, while deliveries for the first batch of customers is set to commence soon. UM had also stopped accepting bookings briefly, which re-opened in mid-May and deliveries for the second batch of customers are set to commence in August this year.

The dealerships have an American theme to it
The UM Renegade Sport S and Renegade Commando are different looking motorcycles with the former getting a more 'Street' inspired design with minimal chrome at work. In contrast, the Renegade Commando gets a military inspired paint job reminiscent of the American motorcycles from the World War II Era. Both bikes draw power from a 279cc, single-cylinder, water-cooled engine producing 25bhp of power at 8500rpm and 21.8Nm of torque at 7000rpm. The motor comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

UM also plans to sell riding gear and accessories through its dealerships
Talking about the first dealership, UM has tried to bring the American flavour to its showroom in Delhi and the theme certainly works with the star spangled banner as well as the diner and bar styled seats. The two cruisers will be joined by the Renegade Classic later this year at showrooms across the country and is priced at Rs. 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
