Volvo Buses invites registrations for 4th Edition of Volvo Sustainable Mobility Awards

Volvo Buses in India announced the start of registrations for the 2014 Volvo Sustainable Mobility Awards. Volvo is inviting stakeholders from among citizen groups/NGOs, organisations/ consultancies, and institutions among others, to participate in the 4th Edition of the awards.
Prize money will be awarded to those promoting sustainable solutions in urban mobility. This is truly a practical way to find out what the need of the hour is. This year the overall prize money has been increased to 1.2 million rupees and this includes 700,000 for the winner, 300,000 for the 1st runner-up and, inclusion of new category for 2nd runner up, which will get 200,000 rupees.
Registrations for the awards have started and the last date to register is August 31, 2014. VRV Sriprasad, Managing Director, Volvo Buses in India said, "The Volvo Sustainable Mobility Awards underlines Volvo Buses' commitment to promote the need for sustainable mobility via collaboration with all stakeholders - an essential for our growing country and its cities. Mobility - its ease or its non-availability - has a significant impact on our quality of life."
