Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum - The Latest LinkedIn Influencer

Jaguar's Design Director, Ian Callum, joined LinkedIn as an Influencer today. Linkedin Influencer is an endeavour by LinkedIn that brings together a group of A-listers in business, and gets them to dole out their opinions and share their views with the website's members across the world.
LinkedIn first introduced the group in in October 2012, when it first invited Influencers to share unique and original content. The group has now about 500 members, including the likes of Richard Branson (Founder, Virgin Group), Bill Gates (Founder, Microsoft), Michael Bloomberg (New York City Mayor), Meg Whitman (CEO, Hewlett-Packard), Maria Shriver (journalist), and David Cameron (UK Prime Minister) among others.
Callum, the man behind the design of Jaguar's current range of sports and luxury cars, including the new F-TYPE, published an Influencer post on LinkedIn today, where he explains why design is of paramount importance for product-led businesses, a topic extremely dear to the man. The post further delves into this topic and goes on to explain why the most successful companies embrace design. Read the complete post here.
Ian Callum, talking about his experience, said, "It is an honour to be invited to contribute as an Influencer on LinkedIn. It is exciting to be in such exceptional company as the likes of Richard Branson and U.S. President Barack Obama. I always try to learn from those around me and I look forward to sharing my own experiences and insights with a diverse audience. Hopefully this will be the start of a new stage of learning and collaborating."
