Low Visibility Results in 100 Car Pile-Up in South Korea

A 100 car pile-up in South Korea has led to the death of two people and has left 45 injured. It was on a bridge near South Korea's largest international airport, that was the place for the pile-up . South Korea has been experiencing dense fog for the past few days and the mishap has been said to be a result of this.
The low visibility and possibly icy roads have led to this massive pile-up which has clearly destroyed a lot of vehicles. The foggy weather delayed the departure of 18 flights and the arrival of seven others at the airport.
Buses, cabs and private cars have been decimated as we can see in the video and most of them had no clue what was happening till they were hit. 18 foreigners were hurt, including seven Chinese, three Thai nationals and two each from the Philippines and Vietnam.

One among them was a cab driver, Yoo Sang-Young, whose car was part of the pile-up, told Yonhap news agency, "I heard a series of bangs in front of me. Then I was rear-ended by a following car. I felt my car turning around and hitting a protection rail. I then lost consciousness."
Such accidents are a cause of concern even in our country, especially in cities like Delhi, where dense fog plays spoil sport and it is time to find a method by which the drivers are alerted well in advance about such conditions so that precautions could be the cure!
