Maruti Swift Dzire's special edition launched ahead of Hyundai Xcent launch

Now when Hyundai is all set to roll out the much anticipated Xcent in the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki India has launched a limited edition of the Swift Dzire's base diesel variant LDi. Named as Swift Dzire LDiX, the special edition comes with a bunch of new features, which now make it richer in terms of equipment level. The company has rolled out this edition at Rs. 6.86 lakh (on-road, Delhi).

The list of features include remote central locking, double-DIN stereo system with four speakers, power windows, vanity mirror under passenger side sun visor, body coloured wing mirrors with integrated turn indicators and front fog lamps.

The company has also been giving special discounts and offers on 2013 model year cars. For the 2014 Model, Maruti is offering an exchange bonus worth Rs. 15,000 or loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000, along with corporate discount of Rs. 1,500.

Maruti Swift Dzire has been leading the compact sedan segment for years now, but Dzire's market share might come now come down as Hyundai is ready with the Xcent, while Honda too has increased Amaze's production capacity. So, it will be interesting to watch the battle taking place among Dzire, Xcent and Amaze.
