The G-Wange has a legacy that goes back over four decades. And India too has received both the AMG (G 63) and the standard diesel (G 350d) version of the SUV. Earlier this year Mercedes-Benz India replaced the latter with the new G 400d which in addition to some minor updates offer more power and torque, along with improved performance. That said, the Mercedes-Benz G 400d is also Rs. 1 crore more expensive than the older G 350d. So, is that premium justified? Is it really worth the Rs. 2.55 crore sticker price?
