2017 LA Auto Show: All New Volvo XC40 Unveiled

After unveiling the all new Volvo XC40 in September this year, Volvo has entered the North American compact SUV segment with the debut of the new XC40 at the LA Auto Show. The Volvo XC40, which will also come to India next year, is the smallest and the most affordable XC model from Volvo. Built at the company's Belgium factory, the first examples will begin arriving in Volvo's 300 U.S. showrooms in early 2018 as a model year 2019. With the introduction of the XC40, Volvo completes its SUV range, which consists of the all new Volvo XC60 and the Volvo XC90. The XC40 will go up against the likes of the Audi Q3 and the BMW X1.

The new XC40 is the first model on Volvo Cars' new Compact Modular Architecture (CMA), which will underpin all other upcoming cars in the 40 Series, including fully electrified vehicles. Care by Volvo, Volvo's new all-inclusive, negotiation free subscription service, debuts with the new XC40 and will be offered alongside traditional purchase and lease options. The process starts with an online order and makes owning a car as easy as owning a cell phone.
