Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited has introduced the new 2018 series for the Suzuki Gixxer SP (with ABS) and Suzuki Gixxer SF SP (with FI and ABS). The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SP and Suzuki Gixxer SF SP come with a new gold and black colour combination, new SP 2018 emblem and new graphics on the front cowl and fuel tank. There are no other changes in the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SP series, and the mechanicals and cycle parts continue to remain the same as the outgoing Gixxer SP and Gixxer SF SP models. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SP (with ABS) is priced at Rs. 87,250 (ex-showroom Delhi), and the Suzuki Gixxer SF SP (with FI and ABS) is priced at Rs. 1,00,630 (ex-showroom Delhi).

The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SP gets a new black and gold colour scheme and new body graphics
Both the Suzuki Gixxer and the Gixxer SF series are powered by the single-cylinder, 155 cc, air-cooled engine, which makes 14.6 bhp at 8,000 rpm, and 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Other components, including the suspension, chassis and bodywork remain the same on the 2018 SP series of the Gixxer and Gixxer SF. The Suzuki Gixxer is one of the best 160 cc motorcycles available on sale right now, and offers a superb blend of style, performance, handling, and fuel economy. The Suzuki Gixxer currently competes with the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, Honda CB Hornet 160R and Yamaha FZ-S FI V2.0.
