2019 Ducati Scrambler Range Launched In India; Prices Start At Rs.7.89 Lakh

- The 2019 Ducati Scrambler gets cosmetic updates.

Having unveiled it at the EICMA Motorcycle Show last year, Ducati India has introduced the 2019 Scrambler range in the country. The 2019 Ducati Scrambler line-up is priced from Rs. 7.89 lakh for the base Icon variant, while the Cafe Racer is priced at Rs. 9.78 lakh. The Scrambler Desert Sled is priced at Rs. 9.93 lakh and the Full Throttle is priced at Rs. 8.92 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom India). The 2019 Scrambler gets a host of improvements over the outgoing version including cosmetic changes and better ride-ability, while the bikes will continue to come to India as Completely Built Units (CBU) from Thailand.

The 2019 Ducati Scrambler range gets its first comprehensive update. The bike looks nearly identical to the existing version, however, a closer look would reveal the changes. This includes the new LED daytime running lights within the retro round headlamp, while the digital instrument console now comes with a fuel gauge and a gear indicator, as part of a much need update. The bike also gets improved switchgear borrowed from the Scrambler 1100 that adds a premium touch, lighter clutch assembly and adjustable levers. The seat cushion has been replaced and gets a new seat material as well for a comfier ride.

The Ducati Scrambler retains the 803 cc L-Twin, air-cooled engine.Power on the 2019 Ducati Scrambler range continues to come from the same 803 cc L-Twin, air-cooled engine that is tuned to produce 73 bhp and 67 Nm of peak torque. The motor is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
