2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR Bookings Open

- The Jaguar F-Pace SVR is the performance-spec version of the SUV

Jaguar Land Rover India has officially began accepting bookings for the performance-spec Jaguar F-Pace SVR. It was just earlier this month that the company launched the facelifted F-Pace SUV in India, which is only offered in a single R-Dynamic S-Trim in India, priced at Rs. 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Now, the company is adding the performance-spec Jaguar F-Pace SVR to the line-up, which is claimed to be faster, more luxurious, and more refined than its predecessor. With the bookings already open, we would expect the SUV to go on sale in India soon.

The F-Pace SVR has now moved to Jaguar's advanced Electronic Vehicle Architecture 2.0 (EVA 2.0)
The upcoming Jaguar F-Pace SVR will be powered by the company's 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine that is tuned to churn out about 543 bhp and a monstrous 700 Nm of peak torque, an increase of 20 Nm, compared to the older model. The supercharged V8 motor will be paired with Jaguar's ultra-responsive, 8-speed automatic transmission which is claimed to deliver rapid gearshifts for effortless performance, while adapting the way power is delivered to suit the driving situations. The new F-Pace SVR is capable of doing a 0-100 kmph sprint in 4.0 seconds. Jaguar's All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system with Intelligent Driveline Dynamics is also fitted as standard.
The new F-Pace SVR will also two different modes - Comfort and Dynamic, which when applied alter the throttle mapping, gear shift points, steering effort and suspension. In the Dynamic mode the driver will have access to a stopwatch, G-Meter and pedal graph, while the Adaptive Dynamics continuously adjusts the dampers for enhanced comfort and refinement depending on road and driving conditions.

The SVR has now moved to Jaguar's advanced Electronic Vehicle Architecture 2.0 (EVA 2.0) that has helped improv its agility and the model now adopts motorsport inspired design details. It gets the SVR badged grille, and revised bumper design with X-shape and blade-like elements intersecting the lower side air vents and intakes. The SUV also features all-LED quad headlights with 'Double J' Daytime Running Light (DRL) signatures are available with optional Pixel LED technology and deliver increased resolution and brightness. It also gets Adaptive Driving Beam which evaluates the road ahead and automatically adapts the high beam light to mask oncoming traffic or traffic signs.

The cabin, on the other hand, too has been updated and it now gets a more upmarket treatment. The interior is finished in dimpled leather with heritage logo-inspired detailing and debossed SVR logo. It also gets leather-wrapped steering wheel with red stitching, wireless charger and a 11.4-inch curved-glass HD touchscreen for the new Pivi Pro infotainment system. It's connected and will come with Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) capability. The F-Pace SVR will also come with JLR's Cabin Air Ionisation which improves interior air quality through Nanoe technology and removes allergens and unpleasant odours.
