Triumph Motorcycles India will launch the 2021 Triumph Speed Twin on August 31, 2021
The 2021 Speed Twin has the same Bonneville 1,200 cc 'high power' engine, but it's been updated to add 3 bhp more peak power, as well as reduce inertia by 17 per cent. New crankshaft and alternator, new balancer shaft, new cam profile, revised ports, and high compression pistons have brought these updates on. The result, Triumph says, is a more responsive engine, with more mid-range power and torque. In fact, the redline has added 500 rpm more, and peak torque is now achieved 500 rpm lower. The 1,200 cc parallel-twin engine now makes 99 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 112 Nm of peak torque at 4,250 rpm.
