Khatter shared images of his new ride on social media, christening the bike "Speedy Gonzales." He also revealed that his new helmet was gifted by older brother and actor Shahid Kapoor. Interestingly, Kapoor also welcomed his new set of wheels recently in the form of the Mercedes-Maybach S580.

The Triumph Speed Twin was launched in India last year with a host of improvements and the BS6 upgrade. The MY2021 model arrived with new brakes, new suspension, new tyres and wheels, as well as cosmetic upgrades and few new features. Notably, the 2021 Triumph Speed Twin comes with a revised fuel tank with new graphics, anodised headlight mounts, brushed aluminium finish on the upswept silencers, classic Monza fuel cap, and clear anodised aluminium swingarm. The front and rear mudguards get new mounts, and the side panels get a brushed aluminium finish, along with the heel guards.
Power comes from the Bonneville family's 1,200 cc 'high power' engine. The motor has been upgraded to belt out an additional 3 bhp of peak power, as well as reduce inertia by 17 per cent. The engine also comes with a new crankshaft and alternator, new balancer shaft, new cam profile, revised ports, and high compression pistons. As a result, the parallel-twin motor develops 99 bhp at 7,250 rpm and 112 Nm of peak torque at 4,250 rpm. It's paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
