For 2022, Ducati has unveiled a top-of-the-line model in the Ducati Streetfighter range, the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 SP. According to Ducati, the Streetfighter V4 SP, which stands for "Sport Production," is the most adrenaline-pumping naked to ever roll out of the production line at Borgo Panigale. The SP has better power-to-weight ratio than the V4 S, and is said to be even more effective on the track. The SP weighs slightly less than the standard Streetfighter V4, and comes with a dedicated livery, as well as premium equipment derived from the Ducati Superleggera V4.

The special “Winter Test” livery of the Streetfighter V4 SP has been conceived by the Ducati Centro Stile, the in-house design department at Borgo Panigale.

The matt black of the fairings combined with the matt carbon finish of the rims and wings contrasts with the bright red accents and the sparkling brushed aluminium tank.

The Streetfighter V4 SP is powered by the 1,103 cc, Desmosedici Stradale engine with 205 bhp at 13,000 rpm, and peak torque of 123 Nm at 9,500 rpm. On the Streetfighter V4 SP, the Desmosedici Stradale is fitted with the STM-EVO SBK dry clutch, which is said to offer a better anti-hopping function, even in the most aggressive downshifts, and greater fluidity during all "off-throttle" stages, a crucial aspect to be truly effective on the track when pushing to the limit. The V4 SP gets adjustable aluminium and CNC machined footpegs, carbon fibre front mudguard, a lithium ion battery and a range of optional accessories.

The Streetfighter V4 SP has a kerb weight of 196 kg, 3 kg less than the Streetfighter V4 S
The 5 split-spoke carbon rims are 1.4 kg lighter than the forged aluminium wheels fiited as standard on the V4 S. These carbon rims are said to reduce inertia by 26 per cent at the front, and 46 per cent at the rear. The top-spec Brembo Stylema R front calipers offer superb braking power, and the V4 SP also gets the Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 which varies the suspension damping according to the rider's riding style, and combined the the bi-plane wings, is said to offer the best performance. Internationally, the Streetfighter V4 SP, with a single-seat configuration, will be available in early 2022. We expect a few of these bikes to be offered on an as-is order basis in India as well.
