2022 Jaguar F-Type P450 V8 Unveiled

- The 2022 Jaguar F-Type P450 gets a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 motor

- The R-spec model does the 0-100 kmph sprint in 3.5 seconds
The 2022 Jaguar F-Type has been unveiled exclusively in the P450 variant with a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 motor under its hood. The engine is tuned to churn out 438 bhp and 580 Nm of peak torque, while same engine is tuned to belt out 567 bhp in the sportier R variant. The new Jaguar F-Type P450 comes standard with an electronically controlled active differential and clocks triple-digit speeds in just about 4.4 seconds in all-wheel-drive configurations, further ticking a top-speed of 285 kmph. The 2022 Jaguar F-Type R remains pretty much unchanged. It can clock triple-digit speeds in 3.5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 299 kmph.

In global markets, the P450 is offered as a coupe or convertible, and it comes in RWD or R-Dynamic AWD trims.
The new F-Type P450 is equipped with 20-inch alloy wheels and brakes that measure 380 mm in front and 376 mm at the rear. The model also gets an active exhaust with a selectable quiet start mode that keeps the pipes muted initially, so that your neighbours are not unhappy with you. In global markets, the P450 is offered as a coupe or convertible, and it comes in RWD or R-Dynamic AWD trims.

The cabin has, 12-way power adjustable seats, a power-adjustable steering column, and branded treadplates as well.
The P450 R-Dynamic AWD has a few additional elements like the gloss black finish on the front splitter, side sills, valence, and venture among others. It is also equipped with auto-dimming, power-folding, and heated side mirrors along with 12-way adjustable powered seats. The 20-inch split-spoke wheels are gloss dark gray with diamond-turned details. The cabin has a power-adjustable steering column, and branded treadplates as well. We don't have any word from the company on whether the 2022 Jaguar F-Type will go on sale in India.
