Jaguar Opens Bookings For The F-Type R-Dynamic Black Variant In India

- The Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic Black is a special edition model
- India will get the RWD F-Type R-Dynamic Black with a 5.0 V8
- Jaguar offers 3 colours - Santorini Black, Eiger Grey and Firenze Red
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has begun accepting bookings for the new Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic Black variant in India. The new special edition variant of the sports car will be sold in India, powered by a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine, which is tuned to make 444 bhp and a peak torque of 580 Nm. While globally the F-Type R-Dynamic Black comes with both - the Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) as well as the All-Wheel-Drive (AWD) options, India will only get the former, along with an eight-speed 'Quickshift' transmission.

Commenting on the announcement, Rohit Suri, President and Managing Director, Jaguar Land Rover India, said, "With the introduction of F-Type R-Dynamic Black, the perfectly proportioned and extraordinarily beautiful F-Type is now more distinctive than ever, giving genuine sports car enthusiasts more reasons to indulge and rejoice." Right now, the car is offered in both Coupe and Convertible options, and while the former gets 4 variants - Coupe, R-Dynamic Coupe, R, and First Edition, the latter is offered in 2 trims - R-Dynamic Convertible and R Convertible.

The Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic Black variant will come with 20-inch five split-spoke wheels in gloss black finish in 3 colours - Santorini Black, Eiger Grey and Firenze Red
The India-bound Jaguar F-Type R-Dynamic Black variant will detain the design of the regular model, however, it will come with Jaguar's 'Black Pack' styling kit, which includes a set of 20-inch five split-spoke wheels in gloss black finish. Furthermore, the 2-door sports car will be offered in the choice of three metallic colour options - Santorini Black, Eiger Grey and Firenze Red.

The cabin will continue to offer the 1+1 layout with a driver-focused dashboard and slimline performance seats. The seats are draped in Windsor leather with colour choices that include - Ebony with Light Oyster contrast stitching or Mars with Flame Red stitching. The seats also come with a 12-way adjustment function, and the car gets a monogram stitch pattern on the door trims. Other features include a 10-inch Touch Pro infotainment system, and digital instrument cluster with an interactive driver display, aluminium paddle shifters, auto-dimming, power folder, heated door mirrors with memory, and switchable active exhaust.
