2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Launched In India; Prices Begin At Rs. 4.25 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki India has updated the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso for 2022 in India with an updated petrol engine that makes it much more fuel efficient than before at a starting price of Rs. 4.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India). With the 2022 model, the prices for the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso are also hiked by up to Rs. 70,000 depending on the variants. Along with a bump in its output, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso also receives new features for the higher-spec variants of the small SUV. Both the manual and automatic versions of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso have undergone a mechanical transformation however, styling remains the same as before.

Along with a bump in its output, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso also receives new features for the higher-spec variants of the small SUV.

Within a short span of around three years, we have sold over 2,02,500 units of S-Presso, a strong testimony that it stirred the right notes with customers. The new S-Presso with refined 1.0 K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine with idle start/stop technology, enhanced fuel efficiency and added features will offer an engaging drive experience to customers. We are confident that our customers will much appreciate the new S-Presso.”

The 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso now comes powered by the next-gen K-Series 1.0-litre petrol engine with an output of 66 bhp and 89 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and an AMT unit. As part of the mechanical update, the 2022 S-Presso also adds idle start/stop technology, with a claimed fuel efficiency of 25.30 kmpl for the AMT versions and up to 24.76 kmpl for the manual variants.

In terms of features, the 2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Press receives an air purifier, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and reverse parking sensors for higher VXi+ and VXi+ (O) variants while all AMT variants also get an electronic stability program with a hill-hold assist.
