The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz SHVS returns an outstanding mileage of 28.09Km/l, while the old Maruti Suzuki Ciaz diesel had an ARAI certified mileage of 26.21Km/l.

2. Honda City

Honda City's diesel engine puts out 99bhp and 200Nm and its mileage is rated at 26Km/l, thus making it the second most fuel-efficient sedan in India.
