5 Cars in the 'Cars' Franchise, ranked by cuteness

Cars has introduced many characters over the years in its three movies. All the characters stand differently with their personalities and fascinating backgrounds. Take Finn, for example. His spy skills are excellent whereas Mater's humour and simple-minded nature can tickle your bones. On the other hand, there are Friends from Doc Hudson's Racing days, spies, and the exceptional Radiator Springs who are residents, and all of them had something to offer all through the movie franchise. One cannot forget how Mack was loyal and kind to Lightning.
While spanning into three different movies, the merchandising sales were over $10 billion. Although, whenever the franchise was blamed for its "not-so-interesting" stories, this animated movie got an incredible identity, especially in the Disney bubble. The movie became famous, and that popularity made some characters go on to become icons in movie history.
Here is the list of 10 incredible characters of the Cars Franchise.
Holly Shiftwell
Even being a first-timer, Holley Shiftwell did well on-screen. She is tech-savvy and returned mater's love, although it's unfortunate that the fans didn't get to see how they did on their date! Holly was a kind, adorable character and extremely talented. She used to fool the tow trucks so that she and Finn could sneak Mater to meet professor Zündapp.

Finn McMissile
Finn was nothing but cool. Practically he is James Bond in a Car Avatar. This spy came to prepare to steal the show and almost dodged a harrowing attack at the beginning of the second film. Finn at first mistook Mater for a spy, but later Mater ended up helping find the culprit.

Smokey
When Lightning needed support and guidance and couldn't get it from Doc Hudson in the 3rd part of the franchise, Smokey got his back. Lightning and Cruz met these racing legends while Smokey was behind Doc in his glory days. For Lightning, he was an advisor, and for Cruz, he was a light of hope and a great racer by using old-school techniques.

Mack
John Ratzenberger's Mack is another adorable character. He is funny, sweet and his loyalty towards Lightning is exceptional. Even when Lightning was behaving arrogantly, Mack stuck by him and made sure Lightning got into his races and had friends in the long run. Mack was very reliable and goofy at times, especially when he made faces at his reflection on the back of a truck. Mack was entertaining both himself and others.

Lightning McQueen
When the audience first came across Lightning McQueen, he was arrogant and unappreciative towards his team. He never gave a chance even to his sponsors to steal the limelight. Although later, Lightning found love, friendship, and a meaningful mentor and also got to know what living actually means!

Mater
Where would this Cars franchise stand without including Mater, the beloved tow truck? A kind-hearted adorable car that was bound to create problems, eventually led to fighting between him and his best friend, McQueen. Although it does not matter, Mater is a character who would always stay with his friends.

Conclusion
It was meant to be Lightning from the start, which was expected to end up as Radiator Springs. These are some of the cars that not only managed to impress the kids and also left a mark in the mind of the adults. If you read this article, you will appreciate the cutest Cars characters once again!
