Audi Q8 SUV Teased Ahead Of Beijing Debut

We know Audi is working on the new all new Q8 SUV for quite some time now, considering all the spy shots doing the rounds. Now, from what it seems, is that Audi has teased the all new Q8 SUV ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show. The debut of the all new Audi Q8 SUV will also mark the company's 30 years of producing cars in China, and will be unveiled at a special event in China few hours before it goes in front of the general public and media. Now, we know that the Q8 SUV is also coming to Indian shores, as we have spotted it testing on our roads a few times, but it is currently considered for the Chinese market and European market. India, will however, have to wait most likely till the end of this year or early 2019.

The teaser image does not shed much light on what it could look like, but only gives us a glimpse of the silhouette of the new Q8 SUV. But, do note that the German carmakers have not outright announced that this is indeed the Q8, as most of the details are under wraps. Considering the proportions, we can deduce that it is an SUV alright, but we will have to wait till the company officially announces the all new Audi Q8 SUV. However, in all likelihood, it is the Q8, and it does share its underpinnings with the Lamborghini Urus, which we recently drove. It is based on the MQB platform, which also underpins the VW Touareg and the Bentley Bentayga. According to reports, the new Audi Q8 SUV will share similarities with the concept that was showcased at the Detroit Motor Show last year.

Now, the company has not revealed any details of the new Q8 SUV, and the fact that it is coming in June, we do hope that Audi does shed some light at its unveil at the Beijing Motor Show, only if it does happen in China this week. Fingers crossed!
