Audi S3 Cabriolet revealed

Audi had brought out the A3 cabriolet range a while back and now at the 2014 Geneva Motorshow, the company will be adding a new S3 version to the line-up.

The new S3 cabriolet will get the same 2.0-litre, 4 cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which will be capable of producing close to 296bhp which is an increase of nearly 119bhp, over the most powerful A3 cabriolet.

Audi claims that the power enhances the way the S3 drives and 0-100km/h is negotiated in 5.4 seconds and it tops out at 250km/h. The Audi S3 comes with a standard 6-speed dual clutch auto-box and a four-wheel drive system.

Tweaks to the exterior of the S3 include grey front grille inserts, chrome surrounds on the windscreen and aluminium-look mirror housings. Audi has also given the S3 firmer springs and dampers and the ride height too has been altered by 25mm.

Inside, Audi gives Nappa leather and fabric upholstery as standard with the sport seats. It's a good looking car and might we add, something that might literally blow your head away!
