Bentley Bentayga Launched in India; Prices Starts at Rs. 3.85 Crore

- It is not only the most expensive SUV in the world, but also the fastest

Bentley, the British luxury carmaker has launched world fastest and most expensive SUV - Bentayga in India with a startling price tag of Rs. 3.85 Crore (ex-Showroom, Delhi). The Bentayga is the first SUV to come out of Bentley Super-Luxury stable and thus the carmaker has left no stone unturned to bring out the best it can offer. Bentley has announced that it will be producing 3000 units of the Bentayga in the first year alone. And if you are among the privileged, who can even consider buying it, then sorry to say you'll have to wait one more year as all of those 3000 units have been already booked. While international deliveries began only last month, the first delivery of the SUV in India is scheduled to happen in a couple of weeks' time. Currently the British marquee has presence in 55 countries and has over 200 dealerships.

Bentley first showcased the Bentayga at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show last year. Designed, engineered and built in at the carmaker's headquarters in Crewe, England, the Bentayga is undoubtedly one of the most exceptional SUVs built by a carmaker. Each aspect of this SUV has been tailor-made to offer the best of luxury you can get from a car. In terms of looks and design Bentley Bentayga features stays true to the Bentley name shares its cues with the Bentley Flying Spur. The British carmaker's first-ever SUV gets a large matrix grille, four distinctive floating all-LED head-lamps, B-shaped wing vents, and skid plate integrated into the lower section of the front bumper.
Coming to the other parts of its exterior profile, the Bentayga gets segmented tail-lights, a new 'B'-shaped illumination graphic bestow an instantly recognisable and striking night-time signature. Based on the same platform as the new Audi Q7, the side profile of the Bentayga reminds you that it now belongs to the Volkswagen family. Moving on to standard features, the Bentley Bentayga gets an 8" touch-screen infotainment system with 60GB HDD, navigation, voice control with text-to-speech, AMI, CD, MP3, and SD cards, panoramic tilt/slide sunroof with electric blind, heated, acoustic IR front screen and acoustic side glass, split-folding heated rear 4+1 seats, and powered tailgate and soft-close doors. One must note, that the Mulliner Driving Specification interior is also standard.

Bentley Bentayga's list of standard provisions includes full-leather interior, split-folding heated rear 4+1 seats, heated, acoustic IR front screen and acoustic side glass, panoramic tilt/ slide sunroof with electric blind, 8" touch-screen infotainment system with 60GB HDD, navigation, voice control with text-to-speech, AMI, CD, MP3, and SD cards. Furthermore, the SUV also gets speed sensitive, variable ratio electric power steering, full LED adaptive head-lamps with high beam assist, hill descent control, and Drive Dynamics mode, etc.
