BMW M4 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition Launched; Priced At Rs 1.53 Crore

- M4 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition available in limited numbers
- Priced about Rs 9 lakh higher than the standard M4 Competition
- Gets unique exterior colours and finishes to the alloy wheels
BMW has launched the limited-run M4 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition in India at Rs 1.53 crore (ex-showroom, India). The special edition M4 is priced at a Rs 9 lakh premium to the standard model and gets unique historical colour options along with unique colour finishes to the wheels. The M4 Competition 50 Jahre M commemorates BMW M’s 50-year anniversary and is one of 10 special edition models arriving in India to celebrate the anniversary. Previous launches have included the 530i M Sport 50 Jahre M Edition and the M340i 50 Jahre M Edition.
The limited run special edition only gets cosmetic upgrades over the regular M4 Competition with the mechanicals carried forward unchanged. On the outside, the 50 Jahre M Edition gets historical BMW M roundels on the bonnet, boot lid and wheel caps and is available in two unique colours – Macao Blue and Imola Red – paired with either Orbit Grey or Gold Bronze finished M forged alloy wheels.

The cabin too is more or less unchanged from the standard car but gets ’50 Jahre BMW M’ badging on the centre console and embossed into the seats. Customers also can choose from a range of customisation options such as M performance steering with carbon fibre and Alcantara, carbon fibre interior trim and more.
Under the bonnet, the twin-turbo 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine from the standard car is carried forward with power output unchanged at 503 bhp and 650 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 8-speed automatic gearbox.
