- The sales of the Himalayan was temporaily suspended earlier in the year
The BS IV Royal Enfield Himalayan deliveries have finally commenced across India. Earlier, the company had suspended the sales of the Royal Enfield Himalayan temporarily as the bike did not meet the BS IV emission norms which came into effect from 1 April, 2017. There are no mechanical changes on the BS IV Himalayan except the fact that the engine is now fuel-injected as opposed to the earlier carburetted version. With the fuel-injected engine, the pet-cock is also missing on the BS IV Himalayan.
